AMLE Schools of Distinction Searchable Database
AMLE Schools of Distinction recognized and celebrates schools that are actively implementing the essential attributes and characteristics of successful middle grades schools. A core aim of the program is to create a network of schools that can learn from and support each other.
AMLE’s Schools of Distinction database is designed to help foster these connections by providing a searchable tool that allows educators to identify schools engaged in innovative and promising middle grades practices. Search by school state, grade configuration, size, and setting as well as by common topics. You’ll find a button to connect with the school on each school profile page. All of our Schools of Distinction principals are eager to connect and share with their colleagues.
Note, while each School of Distinction was assessed as having implemented best practices across our parameters, we have identified three to five of their most exemplary practices for their profiles.
Not sure where to start? Or looking for a particular practice not included here? Connect with Katie Powell, Director for Middle Level Programs, and we will guide to you to the appropriate school/connection.
