Session Description
If you are in a 1:1 school that uses Google you can easily create a 21st century website to help your students, especially when they are absent. On my math class website I have Google folders linked to notes and worksheets, lesson videos, and homework answers. When we finish taking notes in class, an updated PDF with my handwriting for that day’s notes is uploaded instantly to our class website. Our interactive board and the audio in the classroom is also recorded during the lesson using Screencast-o-matic and uploaded to our lesson video folder at the end of each class. (These videos are available only to our students in order to protect the privacy to the students.) These resources are then available for students who are absent, who lost materials, or who could benefit from hearing and seeing the material one more time.
